We install the Meta Pixel and connect the Conversions API, which sends leads and purchases straight from the server. That way your Instagram and Facebook ads learn from real customers, not incomplete data.

## Why the Pixel alone is no longer enough

The Pixel is code in the visitor’s browser that tells Meta someone left a request or bought. Since Apple’s privacy updates, and because of ad blockers, a large share of these events, especially from iPhones, never reaches Meta. The ad account sees fewer leads than there really are and optimizes blind.

The Conversions API sends the same events straight from the server, bypassing browser restrictions. Together with the Pixel and proper deduplication (so one lead isn’t counted twice), Meta gets the full picture. For example, on the site we built for a network of Montessori kindergartens, leads are sent to ads from both the browser and the server.

## Signs Meta doesn’t see all your conversions

What we find most often in audits:

### Fewer leads in Ads Manager than in your CRM

Telegram or your CRM gets more leads than Meta reports, so ads look more expensive than they are.

### Only the Pixel is installed

The Conversions API isn’t connected, so part of the iPhone conversions are lost.

### Conversions counted twice

The Pixel and the server send the same event without deduplication, and the account reports inflated results.

### No lead event

The campaign optimizes for page views or clicks because the Lead or Purchase event isn’t set up.

## What’s included

We agree the scope after a brief. The baseline includes:

### Pixel and events audit

We check in Events Manager which events arrive, where the duplicates are and what’s missing.

### Meta Pixel installation

Via Google Tag Manager or the site code, without extra duplicates.

### Lead and purchase events

Lead, Contact, Purchase and other events for what actually matters to your business.

### Conversions API

Server-side event sending via your CMS integration or directly from the site.

### Deduplication

Identical events from the Pixel and the server are merged into one, so reports stay honest.

### Checks and test leads

We run test events and confirm Meta receives them correctly.

## How we work

### Audit

We review the site, current Pixel, events and ad account.

### Event plan

We agree which actions count as conversions: a lead, a call, a purchase.

### Pixel and Conversions API

We install the Pixel and connect server-side sending and deduplication.

### Testing

We check test events in Events Manager and test leads on the site.

### Handover and ads

We set campaigns to the right event or hand over access to your team.

## One-off setup or ongoing management

Pick what you need right now.

### Setup and handover

Pixel, Conversions API, events and checks — then your team or media buyer works with correct data.

### Together with ad management

We set up tracking and run your Instagram and Facebook ads optimized for real leads.

## Frequently asked questions

### How much does Pixel and Conversions API setup cost?

From $100. The price depends on what the site is built on, how many events need tracking and whether it’s an online store. We quote the exact price after a free express audit.

### Do I need the Conversions API if the Pixel is already installed?

Yes. Since Apple’s privacy updates, the regular Pixel misses a large share of iPhone conversions. The Conversions API sends this data straight from the server, bypassing browser restrictions.

### Won’t leads be counted twice?

No, if deduplication is set up: the Pixel and the server send the event with the same ID, and Meta counts it once. We always check this.

### Does it work with WordPress or another CMS?

Yes. Popular CMSs have Meta integrations, and for custom-coded sites we send events directly from the server. We choose the method for your site.

### Can leads from a CRM be sent to Meta?

Yes, the Conversions API can send an event from anywhere there’s lead data, including a CRM. Then ads learn not only from leads but from people who became customers.

### How do I check that everything works?

Events Manager shows which events come from the Pixel and which from the server, and how well Meta matches them. After setup we walk you through this together with test leads.

## Facebook & Instagram ads

The Pixel and Conversions API work best together with properly set up campaigns.
