In short
- Client: a kerosene heater store for homes and businesses during power outages.
- Task: move from a website builder to the client's own store, easy to manage and able to explain an expensive product without a call.
- What we did: the client's own store, a quick model finder, safety and delivery pages, a Telegram bot and old URL redirects.
- Result: the first real orders arrived three days after launch, two of the three from Google search.
Why a website builder was not enough
People buy kerosene heaters carefully: they want to know which model suits their space, whether it is safe at home, how much fuel it uses. The old site had almost none of those answers.
The builder was limiting too: custom model selection logic, a bot and sending inquiries to the managers' working sheet were hard to add.
What we did
- Showed three design options first. Working mockups with a cart and model finder. The client chose the light, restrained option.
- Built the store as a custom store. Catalog, product page, a side cart with fuel and trolley upsells, checkout.
- Helped people choose without a manager. A short quiz, model comparison and a running cost calculator.
- Answered questions before the purchase. "How to choose," "Safety," "Delivery and payment" and FAQ sections.
- Built a Telegram bot. Model selection, callback requests, questions and review collection. Managers reply to customers right from the sheet.
- Connected tracking. Inquiries and orders land in the working sheet.
- Moved the old URLs. Every page of the old site leads to its matching new page, so search traffic is not lost.

Result
Shoppers get their answers right on the site, and managers see orders and questions in one place.
How much does an online store cost
It depends on the scope and what needs to be connected, so we give an estimate after a short conversation about your task.
Is this relevant to your business
This case is about you if you recognize at least one of these:
- your product needs explaining before purchase;
- you have outgrown a website builder;
- managers answer the same questions every day;
- inquiries arrive in different places and get lost.
